Press Release - August 4th, 2011 - Carmel, Indiana:
This Sunday, August 7th, JD Byrider Kart Racing Team Drivers Ron and Tony Petersen return to action at Mark Dismore's New Castle Motorsports Park for Round 11 of the 14-race KRA series. Ron enters the weekend off 3 straight Shifter class wins with 2 in SKUSA CSC action and last week in KRA Round 10. Tony will be fine-tuning his kart for the upcoming WKA National races in September at NCMP.
Action begins Saturday and Sunday at 8am, with racing by noon. Come out to the track and watch some great racing while enjoying a meal at "The Racer's Grill". Spectators get in free! This Sunday, July 17th, the JD Byrider Kart Racing Team kicks off the beginning of 6 races in 3 weeks with Drivers Colton Aldridge and Ron Petersen at Mark Dismore's New Castle Motorsports Park for KRA Round 9. Both Drivers are gearing up for the GLPS and SKUSA CSC double-header next weekend, and the Race For Riley on Wednesday, July 27th. Fellow Team Driver, Tony Petersen, will be rejoining the team next weekend after an extended summer break.

This Sunday, July 3rd, JD Byrider Kart Racing Team Driver Ron Petersen is back to Mark Dismore's New Castle Motorsports Park for KRA Round 8. After a 4th place finish in Round 7 last Sunday, and struggling again with chassis setup, Ron will be parking his Arrow and piloting a CRG chassis in Round 8.
He currently stands 3rd in the KRA season points chase, and 1st in the SKUSA CSC S-4 Masters Class. The next CSC race will be a double-header on July 23rd and 24th at NCMP.

This weekend, June 11th and 12th, JD Byrider Kart Racing Team Driver Ron Petersen heads to Quincy, IL and TNT Kartways to compete in Round 2 of the SKUSA Central States Challenge. This event will bring the best midwest Shifter kart drivers to the banks of the Mississippi River. Practice and qualifying are on Saturday with heat and feature races on Sunday. Last night in the Prelude to the Dream at Tony Stewart's Eldora Speedway, you saw NASCAR's Clint Bowyer dominate the feature race. Dream Week continues with off-track activities on Thursday while Friday and Saturday nights feature the 16th Annual Dirt Late Model Dream event, which is one of the richest dirt late model events in the country.
