Driver News: Ron Petersen - Arrow/Swedetech for KRA and SKUSA Central States Challenge 

Three time KRA Shifter Kart Champion and 2006 KRA Driver of the Year, Ron Petersen kicks off the 2011 KRA season this Sunday, April 3^rd at Mark Dismore’s New Castle Motorsports Park. After a disappointing 3^rd place finish in the 2010 Shifter points race, Ron acquired a 2011 Arrow X-1 125cc Shifter Chassis from Comet Kart Sales and a 125cc Stock-Moto Honda from Swedetech Racing Engines in California. After a recent test session, Ron stated “The engine feels like an ICC and the chassis really gets the power to the ground. The hook-up out of the corners is amazing.”

In addition to pursuing the 2011 KRA Shifter Championship, Ron will be chasing the SKUSA Central States Challenge S4 Masters title aboard his #99 JD Byrider, Tony Stewart Racing, Eldora Speedway sponsored equipment. He’ll also compete in select races including the Race for Riley and the Robopong 200 aboard his Arrow AX-9 with Comet-tuned Leopard.
